Mark Hearn to lead panel of experts to discuss Telecom Expense Management (TEM) best practices for Inventory Management at this week’s TEMIA Conference.
March 21, 2017 Waverly, IA – Network Control, a pioneer and leader in Telecom Expense Management (TEM) managed services, today announced that Network Control CEO & President Mark Hearn will be speaking at the Annual TEMIA Conference in New Orleans, LA this week. Each year the Technology Expense Management Industry Association (TEMIA) gathers to discuss best practices, the evolving industry and changing needs of the enterprise as it relates to this ever-growing industry.
Specifically, Mr. Hearn will lead a group of industry experts in a panel discussion about Inventory Management and the value it provides to the enterprise. Inventory Management is the key to any successful TEM deployment and ongoing operational management as it encompasses service inventory and billing to assets and contract management.
“If a company cannot locate or identify all of its services and assets, they cannot identify errors, overused services or payments for services no longer required,” stated Mr. Hearn. “Organizations must not only have a complete inventory of the services, expense and vendor information, but also internal requirements like General Ledger, Department and Vendor Coding, all of which is essential for chargeback and allocation of Telecom costs which generally runs 2-3% of revenue.”
